When I arrived to Banagalore on August 8th, it was like I left a month ago, not 3 years.
It was different this time, I was not as scared and shocked as my first time, I knew what to expect and of course it helped that I have the cab driver waiting for me and cherry cake at my friend’s parents house. I was welcomed and taken care of from the cab driver booked in advance and my bus ticket purchased 2 weeks before my arrival (Thank you Puneet).
I spent almost 34 hours on a road with a nice rest time in Bangalore at Suria and Bertie Vaz’s house, I think they love me more then their daughter Radhika Vaz and it is understandable, I am a better person and I am blue eyed and blonde lol. (love you Vaz ☺).
I arrived to Madurai and after making the first round around the bus station in hopes to find my friend Zoe Timms and creating a plan B if she is not there. But she was there! We greeted each other like we are at our NY office just met. I was happy to see her and our driver ended up being a movie start, he played some negative role in some local Tamal movies – very nice guy and invited us for dinner at his house.
I slept well. I had no jet lag – I just slept. To show my love to Zoe Timms, I brought her my own banana bread from NYC, smuggled in through Europe and India. Having breakfast next day.
